I know there’s alot that’s said about depression and mood disorders and I know y’all have heard my thoughts by now but I have to say that in my experience- at least at some level- making this choice is one of the most important factors in combating depression. I don’t mean to suggest that anyone can choose to be depressed or not, but there is a mindset that absolutely enables other strategies to truly work.
Some day you will wake up and write this in the steam in your bathroom mirror and it will be the thing that starts a journey to being better.
I believe this.
I have experienced it.
It is some of the truest advice I can give: live as if you are going to be happy again and you will be.
