Katie, 21, Chestertown, Maryland, USA Washington College junior 18 years abroad then 3 in a tiny Maryland town trying to do the college thing. I wear red lipstick and stand next to the stage at concerts. I photograph the people I love and the places I know. I have lived everywhere and am from nowhere. I stopped worrying about referring to just one home years ago, I’ll tag these places home all of the time, though: New Delhi London Cairo my parent’s house in Virginia, as well. I scout for vintage everywhere I go, get dressed in about 2 minutes and I can make the best butternut squash soup you have ever tasted. I drink whiskey straight and don’t touch meat. I love Doctor Who more than any one person should. I am proudly attached to Always Something -where my dear friend writes deftly on feminism, social action and living beautifully. I share Dre and Katie with one of my best friends, it’s my primary because it’s been around so long. I also go by Hats, it’s a long story. xo
